Swipe through the apps to locate messages and then swipe the messages app thumbnail upward to quit the app. step. open the messages app again and delete the thread containing the empty messages. start a new conversation with the person from whom you're receiving blank messages.. Mine deleted on 4/29/17, iphone 5c. all of them. went back to a blank slate. and also, there are two messages that stay at the top. they won't move down and i haven't texted those people for a few days now and their threads just won't fall in line behind the more recent ones.. But when i turn on messaging, the screen is blank even though it shows that i have 3 messages. i went to settings and i reset all my settings. the message screen is still blank and on my home screen the message icon now has an exclamation point next to it..

You can also set up text message forwarding so you can send and receive mms and sms messages on all of your apple devices. if you don’t have an iphone, you can only send and receive messages with your apple id to other apple devices using imessage.. Suddenly my daughters iphone5c will not receive any text messages. she can send messages and can make and receive calls but she is not receiving any text messages. the only trouble shooting we have done is to turn the phone off and back on.. Question: q: iphone not saving sms messages. blank messages app! my iphone 4 has stopped saving my sms text messages. when i get a new message, i get the pop-up notification and can see the message in the messages app. but when i go to the home screen and then back to the messages app, there are no sms messages saved..
