In this video tutorial we show you how to set up port forwarding on your fi9821w or similar model on mac. the mac version we use in this video is 10.8.3 (mountain lion).. The instructions from foscam appearing to be missing a vital step - if you are going to use a non standard port, using those instruction, you will also need to change the port the camera is listening on to match what the port you forward in the router.. In my network i have four foscam ip cameras that i have been port forwarding to the outside world, working good with the 54g. i set up the airport router into my network in place of the 54g, and everything works within the network, including the cameras..
